I think we're back?? Yaay

Happy May Day all!

Sorry for the dip in communications, that would be the 124 cats we've taken in since new year  :drama:

Soooo, where are we at?

Before I go much further, sending love and :cuddle: to Paula, once of WFC true champions.  :)

Happy is not the word for to joy we had in supplying Rosella's new family. Popeye and Elsa are true Waltham Forest Cats  :naughty:

Currently proud to announce 24 cats in care,

In with me: Jet is still with me but he's now indoors (huh, bet you didn't see this one coming did you  :innocent: ) but his bowels are erratic. Poo test no4 going up tomorrow for his giardia status.
Kitty Kitty is pending adoption when her new slaves get home from their hols  :wow:
Summerhouse residents Augusta (teeny gymslip ginger preggie mummy and her writhing belly of three+ kittens  ) and AnnaBella our leggie blonde calico with not quite so far gone pregnancy but still viable babies, so she's also a mum to be.  :-:

In with new fosterer and Purrs pal of old Anka Bugaj :star2: has joined our ranks and is currently encumbered with yummy Mummy Fluff and kittens Petra, Elvis and Jerry Lee.

In with Ruth is semi feral mummy Missus Grey and her three babies Demeter, Bombalurina and Chuckles. (Two ginger boys!). Ruth is also bringing up our semi feral Mummy's girl Little Tux, weighing in at 630 grams she's a lovely little lassie.

In with Emma is Smudge and her brood Toulouse, Marie, Napoleon and Thomas all ready to go next weekend.

In with Marina is Mummy Poppy and her 5 teenies at only 3 weeks Admeter, Coriscopat, Chickee, Jelilorum and Serendipity...

and breathe... :phew:

You can see we have now (finally) exhausted the Purrs Auction list of names, it took longer than it should as people sending their cats in often have their own names for them. WFC respect the wishes of the many above the spelling of the few, forgive any dropped t's or overllooked L's.

If anyone would like to pop a comforting word or two on here to our wunnerful secretary and all round amazing cat champion Tad Davis who is, in her words, "a bit under the weather and fed up", I'm sure she'd be most appreciative. :care:

My last word is to the amazing people here on Purrs: the help received from this Purrs forum and it's members has, at times, kept us afloat so it's without candour I send a massive Thank You to everyone who has cheered us on and sent donations to shore us up till the CP cavalry arrives, which is never quite as predictable as we'd like (!)

Here's to the next quarter! (Blimey!)  :wow:

Lovely pics of your trio Jen.  Mr B looks every inch Grouchos twin at that age  :Luv2: :Luv2:

Thought I'd post a few recent pics of the monstas. Elsa is adorable but Popeye is stealing my heart atm.  He's got this "Millie act" going; demanding copious tummy rubs. Real mommy's boy.  He's got occasional snuffles but no temp and vet says ABs would be an overreaction.  Eating OK and running around like a loony so not concerned.

Both getting bigger but long and lean like their beautiful mom.  Love em tons  :Luv2:

Zarny is fine, her and Mr Bruce have a love/fight relationship. She doesn't like wrestling when he is all excitable but will happily cuddle up and groom eachother at sleeping time. She has coped with the nice well, we are in Worcester now so a bit of a trek from London! Thanks for asking  :Luv:

Hello!

A belated update on Mr Bruce! Now 1 years old, it has been all change and we have moved and they have their own little garden! He is still as mischevious as ever and makes us laugh all the time.  Him and Billy are a proper little double act!

Still on so thankful to have him in our lives (even if he has destroyed countless phone chargers  :Luv2: ) and it's lovely to see him enjoy the garden and catch leaves and bring them in. He is trying to make friends with the neighbourhood cats too!

He still has hints of tabby stripes carol but they are very likely to fade which is what happened with Millie and Ruby but they became solid jet shiney black.

:Luv2:  Is Popeye all black then Rosella?  In the pic on  his own he looks it but in the pic of them both he looks to have some stripey bits.  Am on the iPad and it's not brilliant at cat pics.

Remember the Father Ted episode when they were on holiday in the caravan and Ted was explaining about the different cow sizes?  Well the water bowl is closer to the camera lol  :evillaugh:

I've got tons of pics of them but none really give a proper impression of size.  Elsa is just a tad ("Tad" get it?  ;) ) bigger than her bro.  Her bro is however like a duracell rabbit who doesn't stops until he drops.

They're utterly stunning and very very friendly  :blow kiss: :blow kiss:

No, but I do understand perspective. ;) My cat feeding pics always make the kittens look far bigger than Emo for the same reason.

Like what you did with the Tad.

Another photo update from us too  :)

Thank you Sheila for allowing Popeye and Elsa to come to live with us.

They are the most precious little tikes imaginable.  Both fast asleep at last after endless shenanigans overnight.  I thought once or twice that Popeye might be playing too rough but Elsa is just as nortie.  They are a purrfect match temperament wise.

We've had a poo and a number of wees overnight all in tray.  Popeye just hissed at Grouchos paw that I allowed through a small gap in the door.  Groucho unscathed though  ;)

Just a little photo update for our Sheila.

Pirate has worked out the treat tower before anyone else, Pippa was looking and learning.

Merlin has turned into the biggest soppy sox ever.

Just to show you the results of you, Tad and Mark and the rest of the teams hard work and dedication. Thank you for my three wonderful additions.

I don't understand how anyone could have any animal into their life and then just dump them like so much unwanted rubbish. Beggars belief. Or mistreat them for that matter. :'(, sadly Sheila and her team see it all too often.
