All good here!
Gill the crate arrived yesterday safe and sound, and perfect for our TNR work, you're amazing thank you so very much!
I got to the house where the cat had got out only to find they'd trekked halfway across London to hire a trap, had set it overnight but forgot to check it! Poor cat was in there all dejected, cold and wet but unhurt.
A safety tip for anyone reading this who needs to trap a cat... please check the trap frequently and never ever leave an automatic trap where it can be picked up by passers by, you not only need your trap back but you never know what awful events might befall the poor animal they may have stolen along with your precious equipment.
Helping a good friend out with some local neutering next week.
you know who you are
Maybelle and Star are over the worst of the Ringworm and the house is as clean as it has ever been.
Razzle and Razwana flew through their operations and will hopefully be off to their sanctuary spaces on Sunday. It's a pity we couldn't bring little Razwana in from the Summerhouse. I'm sure she would turn around and be great mates with Maybelle and Star, at about the same age, and she gave me a lovely purry cuddle (alright I gave her no option) and is desperate to get out and investigate. Still she will be reunited with her folks who went to the sanctuary two weeks ago, so she will be happy and safe back with her old gang.
This weekend is a quiet one, so far, we can't get neutering space at the vets locally as they're all so busy following Christmas break with numerous so animals suffering from mince pie and chocolate cake poisoning to choking on cooked bones, new animals being let out too soon and suffering the consequences - its just so worrying how many people have no clue how to look after their animals!
Anyway, let's see what comes in, I'm not planning anything else today, I just finished work for the weekend and gave some time to play with my own cats for a couple of hours, what a treat!
