Thank you

Archie loved the chin tickle and hopes it will be a while before another jab :)

He is full of beans this morning and starving. Guess that is the steroid.

He has had a tiny bit of blood but hoping there will be no more

This must be such a worry for you!  I'm glad that Archie has improved with the injection, here's hoping he goes a good long time before any further flare-up.

But at least you know it works in an emergency. And there might be something safer you could use for long term use your vet knows about.

Sending gentle hugs for Archie, and hoping he's feeling much better this morning.

Dexafort maybe not for long term use then, but certainly making a difference at the moment.

Thank you all so much was worried sick this morning.

Dexafort is brilliant. Archie was a bit spaced out when I brought him home but has been on the go ever since. Wonder if he could have it orally long term as it really helps.

The vet said it is a strong anti inflam

Just back from vet as Archie had blood in his poo again this morning. Think I have caught it in time as no obvious inflammation in tum, temp ok too. The vet gave him a good check over and gave him a Dexafort injection which should last 10 days.

So glad the vet has started opening on Sat again

A lovely picture of Archie, he looks so content, but I am not sure I could have resisted blowing a raspberry on that gorgeous tum even if it did mean disturbing him :naughty:

 :thanks:

Fingers crossed the sniffing has stopped and his tum is settling at last.

I do worry about him as he is younger than Parki yet she seems in better health, generally

Oh dear Archie has started sniffling now :( Not sure if it is a reaction to the injection or not.

He is eating and active but keeping an eye on him

Thank you both

Archie is feeling much better this evening and hope we have seen the back of it now.

The vet has made a note that the next time it happens he is given the long lasting anti inflame.

He has not had an episode for a year until this one which is an improvement
