Thanks everyone!
Julie I bought the egg in TK Max when my daughter was just little. She wanted that egg much more than a chocolate one and it has been one of my best buys ever. It makes a lovely Easter prop for the hamsters
Daughter is 21 in a few weeks and she still loves the egg too!
Mum is settling in quite well. She has her up and down times but that is to be expected. It's a hard thing to move when you don't have your mind, are 82 and you have lived in the same home since you were married fifty odd years ago.
We can only do our best to make sure mum is safe and cared for but it doesn't stop you feeling very guilty
We will be visiting again in a couple of weeks and sorting out the house too. She has plenty visitors and I can phone so I'm hoping she will be content.
I have found a lovely lady catsitter who comes in to see to C&M so they don't have to go to pwizon now
They are much happier at home as they didn't really like the car trips and the kennel and it is also less costly!
