A novel, set in the fells of Cumbria, and it tells the story of a cat, written from the cat’s point of view, of being cruelly abandoned in the woods and having to fend for himself. He has lots of scary adventures on his own in the wild.
Eventually he finds a new life with a little girl called Kirstie, who loves him deeply, but then things go wrong. It is sad and happy and there is a lot about animals of all kinds and country life.
It is meant for Year Six onwards, but I wrote it in a way that I hope that many of my adult cat lovers will enjoy.
Note: I have read this book and it is a beautifully written, enchanting tale of a brave little kitty. Definitely a book to be enjoyed by all ages.
