I used the phone for that last photo, because I thought the noise of digging out my camera might startle them - it didn't, so here's a couple more!

They're even closer this evening. They've been like this for over half an hour, and they're still there as I'm typing. They didn't move as I took the photo, except to open an eye each. Fortunately they then went back to sleep before the flash went off!

Lily and Bramble are getting closer all the time, although Lily usually spoils it before too long, gets too boisterous, and Bramble goes off in a huff!

I was given a new toy for the cats, but so far only Lily has shown an interest, and she's wary!

How old is she?

I tyhink she's about 18 months old. When she arrived about a year ago, I thought she was arounf 9 months old, but I've since been told she was only 6 months.
Either way, she's still a little minx!

My new internet hub arrived on Thursday, just after I'd come home from shopping, so I rushed to put all the perishables away, and started setting up the hub. Lily quickly made herself comfortable!

I always like to get all the cats in before it starts to go dark (or they'll try and stay out all night!), so the days are even shorter for them now. Bramble comes in without any trouble, and Clio insists on staying upstairs, so only Lily is really affected, and only Lily stands at the door complaining!

I'm in the north west. The sun's been coming out for a little while on-and-off all day, but it's a bit nippy!

Bramble and Lily have been play fighting quite a lot today, and some of the noises they've made have been a bit alarming, so when they went out to catch a bit of sun together, it was a relief to see them so peaceful!

Bramble came to me for some attention earlier, but seemed a bit wary of Lily.

She was right to be wary. As soon as she turned away, Lily started teasing her! (It's a bit blurred as I used the webcam again.)

A bit later, and Lily doesn't have to put up with the same treatment from Bramble.

I don't think Lily likes the weather we're having now. It's been dry, but overcast, and she's not stayed out as long as she usually does, and she's been sitting on me most of the day. (So I must count as a cat bed!

)
These photos were taken with a webcam, and in the top one she was looking at the computer screen, and seeing herself as the camera saw her.

Lily hasn't a nasty bone in her body, as far as cats or people are concerned, though I expect mice and the like might not trust her.

She is a bit exuberant though, and that's a bit of a problem for Clio, who isn't keen on other cats anyway. Still, Clio is happy to stay upstairs in my bedroom, and Bramble is happy, most of the time, to play Lily's games, so there's not too much to panic about.
