Hope you have called or seen the vet an d agree it could be the spray but you need to make sure.

Many products are apparently made for cats like Bob martin stuff but so many have died,

If he has had any pain medication after surgery that could be causing it. Some cats react with D & V after medication.
Has he a temperature? He is going to get dehydrated very quickly. If he was mine I would call a vet rather than risk waiting.

definitely call the vets, vomiting and diarrhea can just be a stomach upset... but on a little kitten dehydration (caused by the above) can be a big problem, also it depends on the type of vomit and diarrhea which the vet can advise you on whether it's a worry or not... vomiting 6 times is quite a lot.

Ya would hope not with chemicals designed for animals but ya never know
They made the dry cat food originally without taurine and when cats started to have a lot of heart probs they realised its essential in a cats diet as they don't produce it themselves so had to add it.

Just seems a coincidence ya used the spray same time
Can't be the catnip mouse unless he has eaten it with all the fabric catnip is definitely safe

He can be having a reaction to the spray , walks on the carpet and licks his paws therefore swallowing it and bad reaction in his stomach .

I did wonder that but it's a spray designed to stop chewing etc so I can't imagine they would make and produce a product designed to possibly be ingested that would make a cat sick.

He ate his dinner at 5:30pm. He has been sick 6 times in the last half an hour

Hi all

Just after some quick advice. Barnaby-Jones had his castration on Saturday. He has seemed fine, eating playing being normal but this evening he has been sick 6 times in the space of half an hour. He seems a little odd but he's eaten his dinner this evening. Any idea what it could be? We bought two new mice toys with catnip in which he has been playing with and we also used some anti scratching spray on the carpet this evening for the first time but barns never licks or chews anything.  Should we be worried or call the vets? Hes got diarrhoea too.
