When to let out?

Apart from the getting pregnant an un neutered mog will wander further from home looking for nookie  once neutered they stay closer to home.

I hadn't heard that incontinence was a risk. I just thought that due to them being smaller the anaesthetic was more risky, and the op easier to do.

vets in the USA seem prepared to do it a lot earlier than the UK, but I suppose they have to follow UK guidelines.

but yes, wait until she is neutered.

I have no idea...................ignorance and lack of knowledge most like.

Kittens can be neutered even earlier than 4 months but rare to find a vet who will do this

Can you expand on this a little please? Why do you think people think early speying can cause incontinence in first place?

some vets will neuter earlier - I look mine out on a harness for a little while before she was neutered but to be honest it was more of a pain because she kept bothering me to go out!

Well I was toying with the idea of letting her in garden
Supervised, but she could just run off and I would feel awful and she could get pregnant

So do you normally say 6 months? If it's earlier can it maybe cause incontinence?

Please don't let her out before she's been neutered, sooo many cats/kittens in rescue needing homes and not worth the risk

definately wait until neutering, they can get pregnant very young

Lettie is 17wks old, fully vaccinated but won't be speyed until 6months old.

Do people let their kittens out inbetween this time or just wait until neutered to start letting them
out?

She's physically a good size now and is looking very keen!
