Agree with Kay and also wonder as I am with Lupin, not going out means no grass, hae seeds and must grow some indoor!

I think too as cats age their digestion does better on more frequent but smaller

All my oldies (13 - 17) are a bit reluctant to go out in these breezy cold conditions, ive noticed even the youngsters are staying in more. Hopefully its just coincidental his tummy troubles happened at the same time as the bad weather.

Hoping the wormer did the trick.

Give him the spot on wormer and his tummy has settled. He has slept and ate all day. He normally goes outside about twice abd then from 8pm he goes out til 11pm. No sign of this. Vet said as long as he is eating and pooing and  hydrated then its not something to be overky worried about. She said he coukd be stressdd from something outside or xmas decs going up. She alsosuggested that it could just be him slowly down in his old age. He is 15.

Sorry no idea, ask vet?

If he has not been outside or had fleas very unlikely to be worms I think.

What is up with Liquorice and his tummy...

I noticed a few days that he was eating food like it was going out of fashion and rapid eating. He has thyroidd and is stable. He had is 3month check up and senior check up and got the clear about a week ago. I have noticed his tummy making strange gulging noises and he seems less active. I checked his tummy and it was hard last night but when he returned from a late night stroll his tummy was soft and jelly like so i know he is pooing and weeing. His coat is lovely and shiny and not dehydrated. O wondered if it could be worms or a tummy bug? We tried the worm tablrt but he shuts his mouth so tight and his teeth gritted. I have ordered a spot on wormer which should be here tomorrow. He seems to be sitting around alot
Any ideas would great. He is eating and pooping etc bit his tummy just is not him. We have not changed foods. Thanks
