If she is so thin, I would wait a few days first and try and fatten her up a bit .
You could gently try a soft brush to get her used to it.
Is she very flat faced ? That can make her eyes and nose run .
She could have a cold and antibiotics won't do her any harm , maybe synolux (sp)
I use make up pads from Asda 99p for about a 100 to clean my cats eyes and put some Optrex on them to clean with ,then dry with another pad.
If her eyes are runny some cream from the vets , fucithelmic (sp) .
When I got Winston,many years ago , he had to be completely shaved and it was winter ,so I got him the smallest dog coat I could and he wore it . You could also try a baby jumper,or something to keep her warm .
She also may have the herpes virus if left out a long time , that gives runny eyes and nose to , the vet should be able to check for that or it could be just a cold .
