Yes- my poor brother in law is devastated. He's had so much to cope with in the past few years (including losing my sister to cancer) and he could do without this 

At least dear Jeb went quickly and didn't suffer.

One of brother-in-law's cats, Jeb was the most endearing cats I have ever met. A real gentle giant (apart from his hunting skills in his younger days) and a true gentleman of a cat. I don't think he ever had a cross moment in his life.

Went to the Bridge on Monday following probable sudden heart failure. Now hunting celestial mousies with Uncle M & Percy
