The dearest thing was Frontline combo £27.39 for six pipettes

If you get a free prescription  from your vet it will only cost £21.09 from VetUK and is even cheaper on some of the other sites.

Just noticed this thread I had the boy's 2nd vacs done last Tuesday as Teresa did their 1st one

Can't remember the breakdown but for two lots of triple-vacs, two worming tablets, a six-pack of frontline combo plus health check as it was their first visit it was just over £68 which I thought was great   ;D

Boosters are about £20 and Rascal's is due at the end of the month so will know then.

just going to get the bill

When I had Rosie vaccinated last year it was £52.50

She was vaccinated against:

Feline Panleucopenia
Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis
Feline Calicvirus
Feline Leukaemia

(You can tell I just copied all that off her vaccination card!!)

Her booster is due in July - no idea how much that is.

When she was spayed it was £58

I've not long since paid £33 for the two jabs, had to start Buffy again as hers had lapsed (bad mother) but that didn't include FELV

Blimey, they are expensive. Are kitten jabs normally more expensive than adults? My adult ones (exc FeLV) cost £35 each a couple of years ago.

The kitten course isn't exclusively for kittens, it just means the first course of jabs so costs the same whether kitten or adult. So yes, they are pricey!

the other two practices in my town both have their out of hours facility in a different county

In that case I expect the extra expence is worth it

Complete kitten course of vaccinations (Flu, Enteritis & Leukaemia):    £74.00

Blimey, as I say here the triple well double and leukaemia in the back end approx £36 for the complete course. That is full price the vet charges us £26.00

I know!  Neutering and spaying is well above the average cost aswell.  Before I got the boys I got quotes for the basics like vaccination, chipping and neutering and could have saved quite a bit of money by changing practices as there are two others to choose from where I live.  Tiggy had been with them ever since we moved to the area 13 years ago, they have superb state of the art facilities, very experienced vets and perhaps most importantly they seem to genuinely care about the animals. They also have the emergency out of hours hospital just 5 miles away, the other two practices in my town both have their out of hours facility in a different county

At my vet it is £21 for each (first and second) vacs so £42 but they do a "kitten pack" deal where for £58 you get both sets of vacs, microchipping, one frontline and one worming tablet which I think is very good value. Always worth asking if they do any package deals like that. Boosters are £23 I think.

At my vets kitten jabs are just under £60, boosters are £36. Microchip is £25  (best to get done at same time as vaccinations just in case they should ever wander off).
If your cat is likely to go abroad then rabies jabs at my vets cost £40 for initial jab, £55 for blood test and then £40 for each booster.

I've just had Harry's first and it cost me £23 something, and the second was the same. So just under £50 in total.

You did mean the virus jabs didnt you? lol.
