They are lovely, I only have one raggie Minmin but she lives with 15 domestics and 20 ferals and the honary cat the JRT Jazz.

She came nearly 3 years ago with a lot of issues no litter training at 2 years old - oh what a joy in a multi house hold!  |She now has indoor/outdoor access ( I live miles from anywhere in a rural locale a mile of  C Road) and spent a long time debating what to do but after 9 months of her habit we got the choice of tranquillisers or outdoor access and we chose the latter she loves the garden and has learnt from the ferals you trust no-one but the parents I now have a happy raggie and one who uses the bidet the litter box is beneath her!

If you ever need fosterers in the Aberdeen area give us a shout as we have an isolation wing (the guest suites) and would love another raggie or 2 - all injected/chipped and Programmed and vets refs available

A lovely bunch of raggies who all looked loved and wanted - I am now jelous as I have only one who is helping me type this!

Introducing in no particular order:
Gr Premier Charismagic Dreamweaver or Taz, Tazzie, Tazmundo, TFP (Tazzie Fourpaws) to you and me!!!  Taz is 7 and a seal bicolour.

Charismagic Ceasar a.k.a. Indie, IndieBindiboo and for some obscure reason BimBam!  - BimBam is 9 and a blue colourpoint

Ragalyn Cinzzano - a.k.a. Rio or Ree Ree, blue bicolour, 4 years old.

Chesawood ChinaBlue a.k.a. Chines, China or much to her disgust, Tinky Winks   Our 10 year old seal mitted girl.

Ragscentricity MariesMagic a.k.a. Poppy, Popsicle, Poppydum.  Seal mitted and nearly 2 years old.

Ragscentricity Silvashadow - Sweepie, Sweepstar, Sweepheart - our special needs (partially sighted) boy - almost 1.

Finally our present litter of kittens - Poppy is the mum and they are 9 weeks old.
(They were 7 weeks in this photo) :shy:

That is sad, I do agree that breeders should be doing more before homing. A lot of people post pics of their cats on their initial threads, then we have a section for cat stories, an there is a gallery somewhere, but I dont know how to use that!!

Thank you all for your warm welcome.  Yes, sadly, we get more than we would like of rehomes but in the main they are as a result of genuine reasons i.e. relocations, divorce, etc.  A lot of people don't appreciate the needs of an indoor cat (and in my humble opinion, many don't look past the kitten stage) and I do feel it is up to the breeders (mostly they do) to really press home this point.  Where do you normally post your pix?

Hi Karen, welcome to this awesome site. I also love Raggies but we decided to give a moggie a much needed loving home. He looks like he might have some ragdoll in him as he has soft fluffy long fur. Have a great weekend! ;D

Hi

My name is Karen and I am slave to 6 Raggies (and presently four darling kittens).  I have always loved cats and started off with moggies graduating to Ragdolls some 10 years ago.  I enjoy showing the cats too but my most satisfying work comes from helping out our Ragdoll Rehome Group.

Looking forward to chatting to you all soon. :shy:
