We are this close | | to a final total and have one cheque not received yet, one payment outstanding or not identfied and one payment not identified. It would be so good if the last two were the same.

I have an old one that was working and now isnt and need a new cmos battery, any other lappy it would be easy but of course not mine grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Easy peasy Gill .... take out a couple of screws from the underneath of the lappy, pop out the old keyboard, connect the new keyboard, pop it in place and rescrew! Ta da ... lappy worjing again. Needless to say I won't be leaving any mugs of tea near it anymore and the ferret is banned from the room

I'm back with a vengeance! Finally managed to fit my new keyboard on the laptop so I am now in full working order again! Apologies for the delay in getting everything sent out this year ... it's a bleedin' pain not having internet access and having to send a load of boxes via courier. I will be sorting all the courier boxes out this week so by Saturday everything will be sent out.

Next challenge is getting 7 big boxes (each weighing 7 kg) in my little car to get them to the courier drop off place

) .... I think in might be a couple of journeys

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took part in the auction .... this years total is amazing and it really warms the heart to know that even in these difficult financial times there are still alot of folk out there willing to do a bit for charity whether that's the generosity of the sponsors or the wonderful forum members who bid on the items.

Oh Sheila, i think i won one of the Igloo things I was after a bed or self heating beds to send to Paws inn kitties for Christmas but it seems with all the excitment and rush i bid on the wrong item.

We have also raised a wonderdul amount for Paws Inn Aunty T's legacy so it is a bitter sweet time all round but I think she would be very proud of us

KIPA - so pleased you joined in this year and that you got your wins

As for me, there was just waaaaaay too much stuff this year - it was impossible to focus on all the things I wanted and get the last minute bids in so I missed out on quite a few things I was interested but the main things is that we have all raised a humungous amount for the cats and kittens of Paws Inn - three cheers for Purrs people!
