I was a little nervous at first. We were told how to offer the meat to him, so I figured that if I did get bitten then it would have been my fault for doing it wrong! But he'd done this plenty of times before and was really sweet. (In fact my tabby, Drum, is far more aggressive when I'm feeding her cat treats!)

Oh my gosh how brilliant!!! What an experience and a thoughtful present, you are very lucky. He looks very gentle.

I saw a lady hand feeding tigers at Wingham Wildlife Park in Kent, they have 2 young boy tigers there who were rejected by their mum in a Belgium zoo so had to be hand reared.
She cried buckets she was so overwhelmed with it all.

I got bitten feeding penguins at Wingham and got bitten by a horse once... (that really HURT)  but I don't think it wouldn't put me off now, maybe I just enjoy pain.

 :omg: what an amzing experience!

I don't think I would have been brave enough to do that, I get a bit twitchy even feeding a horse!  :scared:

This was a belated birthday gift from my OH (couldn't book it for my actual birthday). Today we went to Port Lympne wildlife park in Kent and had a tiger experience, which was mainly hand feeding a beautiful tiger called Tugar. He's 14 years old, and a gentle giant. Awesome!
