So sad for the birds and animals  :(

It carried on up to NE and there was a tornado in Lincolnshire.

That's so sad...

It stayed baking where we are all day yesterday- not so much as a cloud. Nice today too, fresher and breezy.

Warwickshire wildlife centre in Nuneaton were under 6 inches of water and had to evacuate some of the animals. They lost some of the birds in their aviary - drowned. :(

As dark as midnight.

It came up north - suddenly the sky went totally black, no hail but bucketloads of rain, thunder, lightning and flash floods everywhere. I love watching it but pretty scary driving conditions  :scared:

Think it must have been travelling east if it was we had in Brum from around 10am to 11am Angie but don't recall hailstones, just lots and lots of thunder & lighting and rain like I've rarely seen it.  Flash flooding throughout the City.

I was travelling to work and had to turn back and find another route 4 times due to flooding  :scared: :scared: :scared:  Really quite exciting but imagine a lot of people were badly affected by it ....

Hailstones the size of marbles. As dark as midnight.
Worrying that the windows won't crack!
