Love Torties!! we had 3 when i was kid - unfortunately lost due to a very sudden frost/snow storm  :'( it was out of season and poor little things hadnt made it.
But such lovely pets!  ;D ;D

i hope Denzel isnt thinking norty thoughts  :evillaugh:

He does go pretty fast for such a little thing. Luckily not fast enough to be chase-able or pounce-able!

Lovely tortie  ;)  Yep, you fooled me  :P

My friends have 2 Spanish tortoises called Sangria and Rioja.  I love to watch them and they can really move fast believe it or not.  Their 2 cats get on really well with them.

Did i fool ya?!

We are looking after a friends tortoise for a week - he is called Harry and is cuter than i thought he would be.

They said he gets let out to wander around the floor, but of course I was wary cos of the kitties. He lives in a big wooden box and they could hear him scratching, so I thought Id be better off showing them what it was rather than risk them trying to investigate themselves!

Dexter lost interest after a couple of minutes, but Denzel likes to watch him.

apologies for the reflection from Denzels collar - at least I know its effective!
