right!!! Jaspers got a crush!!!!
i shall start from the beginning.....
i had my cat suzie since i was about four. all was well. then the neighbours moved in next door with their black and white girl chloe about 9 years ago. these old girls loved to hate each other!! at some stage we got a gap in the fence between the 2 gardens and they would sit and guard their properties, occassionally getting brave and sneaking in, for them both to puff up and hiss (and chloe growled - a lot!!). it never got violent and they were just both kinda stubborn and it was quite funny cos soon as one came one paw too close, the other would scarper!!
suzie went to the bridge 3 years ago and was buried in the garden. chloe nearly gave me heart attcks many times, because she got brave and would come into the garden and started to sit on suzies grave, or just next to it looking at it. it was NEVER somewhere she'd sat before. needless to say the first time i looked out and saw a black and white cat sitting where suzie was buried i was a little shocked!!!!!!
then, as you know i got jasper about a year ago. i think looking back it was love at first site... he would sit at the gap and wait for chloe to walk past. she was not impressed!!!! she'd hiss and growl at him, with the occasional tap on the head with a paw (no claws) if he got too cheeky! he would just take it all - he hadnt found his hiss. even now he has (he had to use it against an intruding tom) he is never nasty to chloe
as you may have gathered we're pretty friendly with our neighbours and jasper developed this... tendancy to sneak into their house, making himself very at home!!!!!! i've had very many phone photos of him in their house. he is apparently very sneaky and seems to reappear there when they think he's been put out!!
the other week chloe strolled into our house and proceeded to munch jasper biscuits - jasper came and saw her, sat and watched her, and SHE growled at him!!! cheeky mare!
so the other day i got a photo of jasper IN BED with chloe!!!!!!!!!! chloe is very much a bed cat, there 20 hours a day at least sorta thing so its seriously her domain. apparently when he hopped on she was doing her usual growling, he just looked at her with his wide eyed gorgeous little face and just layed down!!! she then stopped growling and went back to sleep. hehe.
persistance paid off for my little man!!!!!
so..... we can only conclude that jasper is in luuuurrrvvvvee!!!!!!
