I was without the interweb and a phoneline for over a month when I moved    If you have a phoneline already you could use dial up temporarily until it's sorted.  Once I got the phoneline installed I used dial up until the broadband was sorted, the one I was with cost as little as 1p per minute at evenings and weekends.

I sympathise..its not just bt internet its bt in general that are 

(contact your local mp..that gets them moving abit quicker  )

Mine isn't BT Gill, but struggled each of the 4 times I have tried to get on the pc today, 3 phone calls to TalkTalk - all different probs. Did debate goign back to my dial up modem earlier!!

apart from tiscali not connecting us for 20 days , we kept the same phone number so apparently it takes longer  anyway im back online now
i was having withdrawel symptoms from purrs but mi hubby ses i was in rehab and he has had me all to himself

Hi everyone,

I'm just borrowing someone else's computer for a few minutes but just wanted to say Hi to you all.  I can't believe it but I'm still having problems with my Internet connection so have not been able to access Purrs or anything else for ages now!!!

I hope everyone is OK and that all your little loves are well and happy...mine are!  The move has been a great success for all the babes ... the only downside being the lack of the Internet which of course means no Purrs or Cat Chat...and I do miss all me ol' pals..    It would seem that there is some technical fault causing me all this hassle but I'm paying for the service (and I dare not think about the amount of people who have tried e-mailing me only to be ignored!!) so I think it's now high time it was fixed. (Take that BT  )

Am hopeful something will be resolved very soon so will just wish you all a fond farewell and hope to be back on line asap.
