;D Great news!  One of our cats was a bit of scaredy cat and he used to shoot up the chimney if he heard a noise outside  :evillaugh:

I'll be locking this thread now but if you want to post updates you can do that in Cat's Stories

Just got a call from her new owner. Lindsey is starting to settle in very slowly and they are all being very patient and concerned about her.

They have renamed her Cinders because she shot up their chimney when she arrived!

yeah!!!!!!

A lady came in and said she liked the look of Lyndsey who then promptly hid under a chair. I told her that she has been being friendly with people she knew (which was true).
She looked at the chintzy tail sticking out from the chair and said yes i want her
 ;D  ;D  ;D

....mind you i will have the sctratches from getting her in a cat box for a while  ;D

Good luck Lindsey

Lindsey came to us with 14 other cats when her owner died. Lindsey found the disruption very difficult and spent the first month here in complete hiding. At first Lindsey distrusted everyone but thanks to some of our volunteers spending time with her she started to come out of her hiding place and is now well on her way to being a cat whose favourite part of the day is when someone is rubbing under her chin! Lyndsey is still timid and will probably find her next move quite worrying, but once she settles in she will make a very loving companion.
