Jasmine we could maybe try and work something out if you'd like... maybe on the basis that rather than bidding here (as there's no guarantee we'll manage it!) you could just donate a tenner or whatever IF we manage to sort a lesson out?!

TOP BID AT END OF MONDAY - nowt yet!

I have moved Elas post to the new thread cos in addition to this Becca has promised to play for and old peeps group or similiar and this is being auctioned on a new thread.

Elas said not to be disheartedned by no bids for this, cos she thought that distance was a problem. I agree but there maybe some one who is within travelling distance.

Sooooooooo peeps the offer still stands and if anyone wants to start the bidding Becca is ready and able

This has got me thinking about taking it up again. Nostalgia setting in here. In primary school,There was me on violin, Caroline Pearson on viola and our form teacher Mr Webb (Cliff Richards cousin!) on piano. Between the 3 of us, we tortured the whole school in assembly once a week!

Jasmine where are you, like I said other places are negotiable... especially if you're on the way to go and see me sister (cardiff) or me mum (london)!

It's a pity you're over 100 miles from me, I'm a rusty grade 4 violin and bought a viola last year and have never played it.  :-[

How it works: you bid for this, highest bidder pays Ron, I provide lesson. Just like it were a cake or a wiggly waggler or whatever else. :innocent:

Open case. Evict cat. Remove instrument. Disentangle cat from bow. Begin tuning. Eject cat from room. Start playing. Apply earplugs to self. Play some more. Apply earplugs to cat...

Anywhere up to 30 miles from Manchester Central Library postcode M2 5PD

Further away may be possible by negotiation  :car:

Anyone welcome... total beginners up, don't need your own instrument.

Reserve the right not to be able to get into flats with 147 steps up and no lift.

I live in Withington, South Manchester and if you decide to come and have your lesson here then you get a cup of tea and a biscuit into the bargain  ;D
