Thought thats what trees were for?

Ah I see.  So you're responsible for teaching them these disgraceful habits Angie  :innocent:

umm ... are they stealing socks.... are they finding Teabags and shreding them all over your living room?

Judith can take the blame for Bobby's antics.

If however, you are up to having two more I shall box up Mac and Pecan and send them by special delivery!

I've been quite lucky, my tree has only gone over once in 13years. Tazi used to just sit and stare at the lights and his head would move back and forward like he was hypnotised haha

This year I bought "mirror ball" baubles like they had in discos (Pack of 6 from pound shop! happy days!) and the mirror spots spin round the room when the sun shines (looks nice all round the room) and Nuggie has taken to attacking the moving light reflections on the floor rather than the tree!!  :evillaugh:

Sorry to cause confusion but Bertie is now officially "Bobby".  OH is a Chess nut so they are named after Boris (Spasky) and Bobby (Fischer) which links them up nicely seeing as they are brothers  :Luv:

can you please ask boris and bertie to come round to show my furrballs the purpose of the cat tree currently erected in my bedroom :innocent:

Certainly ............. see link  :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsgunsF-E4Q&feature=youtu.be

Sadly there is however currently some confusion as to the purpose of the Christmas Tree.  It seems unable to stay upright for more than a few minutes .....

I'm in with Bertie and Boris overnight if they behave.  They like to play chase  :scared:

This is a pic from last night.  Rather sweet of Billy to turn his back on Bertie in such a trusting manner so soon ......  :)

Oops s'pose I ought add an update  :-[

All going pretty OK with Bertie Boy  :shify: .  He spent most of this evening on highest level of cat tree (same one as Judith's).  A few hissy spits; nothing major but have to say he is not overly confident atm bless him so we are being rather protective except with his bro Boris.  They seem to be getting on rather well  :Luv:

His dad is sleeping in his room with him again tonight.  We change over at 6am  :tired:  Will be able to get things sorted better over the weekend when we are both home and have more time but each day we are making good progress  :) and will attempt to put Christmas tree up on Saturday which should be fun .....

Rosella, now you're putting ideas in my head - at last I've got my no.7 Chubby on friendly-ish terms and suddenly I'm thinking "is there room for just one more?"

OH is threatening to leave home, though, on the basis there's no room in the bed for all nine of us as it is

Bertie is a proper cutie  :Luv2: :Luv2:

Err......... HIS bedroom  ;)  :)  Just had a play sesh with one of the feathers Groucho brings in on occasion and left him to the delights of a catnip Yeoww rainbow  :)  Work today but OH works from home so will pop in every so often.  He has had a wee in tray ......... just awaiting nuggets  :-:  I keep calling him Spot  :innocent:

Can I just mention that Judith has the most beautiful group of cats and their mom Moggit is just gorgeous  :catlove:  The newbie ginger with the fractured pelvis is so very loving and Sylvester the elderly long haired B&W chap is a delight  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

This is a pic Judith sent me taken in October.  Bertie is on lower shelf in the middle  :)  As you can see she has one or two B&Ws in atm

I must admit I didn't go in the cat lounge for a while, so as not to face their Mum. :(

But with him missing, I kept looking at Dora who has a lot of white, but not the distinctive splodges.  Nobody has those!

Keep up the good work, he will get  more attention with you, here the 'phone keeps ringing and there are more to share/fight over cuddles and my lap.  :briggin:

Oh Pav  :-[  I know.    OH keeps saying exactly that but my head was all over the place back in July when we lost Fred  :(

I just reassure myself that Bertie has had a lovely time with Judith since then and better late than never eh? :)

He's a real headbutty little chap and has many "Boris" mannerisms  :Luv:  He can't alf tuck away the grub   Think we'll try introductions at dinner time soon as they will be so focussed on their food  ;)

We have a tad more than that

But your Bertie is in good company as we had a darling Bertie who died when he was 21 he was a darling a wonderful senior gent and my only advice is give it time, even here we have the odd hiss now and again and once they get the idea they are there to stay then normal transmission resumes ;D

OH has explained it very well.  When you share your home with 7 cats and another decides he wants to stay, you start counting backwards so now we have 6  :-:

i.e. don't you dare tell anyone we have 8

Not sure how many are in Liz's Clan on that basis  :innocent: :evillaugh: although there will still be 3 dawgies of course ...........

Well............  Tiz all a bit odd and expectations change by the hour  :shify: :shify: :shify:

Will they remember each other?

Nope  :) or, if they do, doesn't look good  :shify:  Am pretty sure the answers no though ...

Have to say the reaction is not at all what I expected but suspect Judith won't be surprised  :).  When we went to bring Boris home in July, Bertie came across as the dominant one.  Judith said he was a quiet young chap now and it seems she is right.  Boris (quite a bit the shorter of the two) is keen to get to know Bertie but, from an initial arched back hissy spitty reaction to Bobo,  Bertie just ran away from him under the bed  :-:  He has now seen his bro 3 times.  The longest sesh being about 20 seconds.  Slowly slowly...

OH in with Bertie now while I cook tea.  Bertie just had his tea and now realise his appetite is a lot better than earlier.  If I look at his face closely, the resemblance with his bro is stunning, he bites all buttons and he is a glutton  :yayyy:
