What a lovely ginger boy     I lost my lovely Marmalade just that colour in March
Now have my black and white monster  (only joking he is wonderful and I love him so much)

So many thanks for such a wonderful result.  Sorry we could not reply earlier, or get involved in the bidding on Sunday.  Just as the Sunday meal (for 11 of us) was being served, the phone rang.  A cat in need of help, probably RTA...  So off to collect Angie then on to get the cat.  Yes, it had obvious injuries, including a deep cut under his armpit down to the synovial capsule and a broken pelvis.  He went straight away to the vets, and was there until Tuesday evening.  Antibiotics and painkillers plus cage rest for six weeks.  His favourite place is in his litter tray at the moment, not the nice soft bedding in his pen.  It's so hard to see him sat there, unable to move properly yet.  Fingers crossed he mends quickly.


He was a good boy, at the vets and gained some admirers.  Only young, we estimate and the vet agrees around 8 months, he wasn't neutered on collection from the member of the public, he is now! :shify:  His injury is as if he has had a shunt, and his pelvis is not square at the moment. They were not sure if he had fallen out of or off something when I queried if he had been in a road traffic incident.  So he will have to spend Christmas with us, still better than crying for help  in a frosty overgrown garden which he had been doing for around 24 hours previously.

I never cease to be amazed by the power of Purrs to pull together when needed, I was worried that we wouldn't do as well this year as times are tough for everyone. Simply amazing  :)

Hi wonderful cat peeps :)

We have been through all the threads now and posted the winning bidders and totals for each item including Postage which the winning bidder pays.  All this total goes direct to Cov Cats (incl the postage paid)

I will be updating our spread sheet with all the auction totals now but this will take me till tomorrow eve so totals will be announced Tomorrow night as well as a summary list of all the items and winners with totals.

If you spot any winner's post that is wrong, please let us know here so we can correct it.  :thanks: :thanks:

Auctioneers  - Please don't send off any items until myself or Gilly has posted on the item that monies have been received, so Auctioneers, please hold on to your items till there is a paid post on each thread for your items.   :hug: :hug: :thanks: :hug: :hug:
