Yes all explained in the Instructions which you should be able to see now and the key part of the bidding is the 1p here and there LOL because bids last for the whole time of the auction and cease immediately at the declared time according to the Purrs clock.
At that point bids stop even if they are 1 second late and will not count.
Dont worry there will be reminders and allsorts during the auction
From then on an army of auction team peeps will spend the next few hours posting on every thread saying who the winner is for each item and what to do for the winning bidder and the auctioneer and how to move da Squids
Last year we had all the money in or in post in 24 hours which was brilliant, so it meant that although items were still being packaged and sprinted to the post office, Tan could transfer the money to the Rescue before Christmas.
Tan is totally in charge of the money side and I will be doing the spreadsheet to keep track of things during the auction and then Tan will use this to keep track of the money.
We still need late night volunteers to learn how to do the nightly round up and if you are interested I am the teacher, so please contact me if you are interested. Its a totally vital part of the auction and goes unnoticed by the rest but soooooooooo important to bring in the money.
I cant do it any more due to health problems but anyone who can help will be welcomed.
Sam has brought in the commercial givers and its a real team effort now as the auction is so big and I know so many Purrs members are new but its a great fun occasion and hope as many as possible will get involved in the madness
