It says online "Those who have passed the Faculty of Homeopathy Membership examination can be identified by the letters MFHom or FFHom after their names." and the guy on that website is "Mark Hessey BA MFCHom"

I had the company recommended to me by a Bengal breeder Linda knows. I just thought homeopathy was worth trying to see if it made any difference or not and if not then at least it won't do any harm.

as far as i know ela there are vets who then go onto to study this area and i assume can get a cert for it,

Our vets used to have a vet that prescribed homeopathic remedies as well as traditional. You may care to see her site

charlotte do you know if qualifications are needed in this and if they have them

Good point. Although I know some homeopathic companies do have qualified vet on board, hopefully homeopathic qualified.

I think a site like that provided they have some sort of proffesional certs in that field would be good to have somewhere on this site as a sticky as its something that crops up every now and then but we never really have proper recommendations on where to go.

Thanks for that, although I am a great believer in consultating a vet initially, I do think that there is a place Homeopathic remedies  also. In fact as you know some vet practices have a Homeopathic  trained vet

If anyone is wanting to try homeopathic remedies on their cat or dog I would strongly recommend speaking to Homeopet (www.homeopet.co.uk).
I rang them and the guy was lovely and spent time explaining to me how homeopathic remedies work (I didn't really have a clue lol), talking to me about what I was wanting to use it for and then recommending the remedies he thought would be most useful to me (well Miss Boopy anyway lol) and giving me advice on when to administer the remedy and about dosages etc. He puts no pressure on you at all to buy from him but I decided I might as well order them today. The remedies come in drop form so nice and easy to administer to cats plus the prices are a lot lower than I was expecting as well  ;D
