Not yet! He is being done on Wednesday. He has been the vet five times to try and get it done but they wouldn't as he hadn't fully erm....dropped!

We took him to be chipped before the holiday and they said no. Then when we got back we took him again and they said no. When Ella was ill last week we took Archie with us again and finally they said he was ready and Wednesday was the earliest we could get!! They reckon he is only still about five months now!

My adults dont do bopping they just do running away lol,,,,,,,,,,,,,trouble is both Misa and Sasa have had a bad childhood and they remember.

I am sure Birmans dont get that big lol but will have to check

I can imagine. Archie is almost the size of Ella now. well same body size and Smaller head and she struggles to push him off now! Although I think he might be starting to feel randy! Wednesday can't come soon enough!!!

Gill you split the capsule and mix it on any type of wet food it should after a week - 2 capsules a dayshould calm him down a bit

Its a natural substance so no side effects there is also another type begins with a M = Margicol needs crushed and mixed with wet food

Even small scratches can get infected and need antibiotics mine is now all healed but tender

Raggies mature at 3 to fortunately Caspurr is 5r and won't get any bigger than 8kgs

Gill my 10 year olds and the other youngsters still think they are kittens and play accordingly

Our adults give the kittens and the younger crowd a warning bop - no blood but enough to leave them alone

archie is a nightmare to Ella, he launches at her and never leaves her alone. But in her own way she does love him and he adolises her but just would prefer a fight!!

Afraid no nearer being friends with my cats cos Sasa just hates him although happy to be in a room that he lives in most of time.

He tormants them a bit like Mosi and he is a slow maturing cat, 3 years to full size.

No I have never had a kitten and was told he was good with children and other cats..............hmmmmmmmm

I need to get him to trust me and know it took months for my other birmans and big cats to tollerate each other and birmans were 12/13 !! Ducha used to go for their throat!

I suspect he needs a playmate but cant afford another and think that would seriously cause the big cats a problem and me LOL

He's just being a kitten! He's just a baby - you've never had a kitten before, have you?

I feel your pain - remember I am slave to Monster Mosi! I can't help with the barrier I'm afraid as Im useless at that sort of thing. Are the other cats no nearer to being ok with him? I think it's just going to take time I'm afraid. he's a lively kitten who doesn't like being confined.

As to when they grow up - bad news I'm afraid. Mosi is growing up a bit now and starting to be a bit calmer and more like an adult cat, albeit a lively, playful and very inquisitive adult cat. He's 5 1/2! I remember when I got him I kept telling Jaffa that he would grow up and was only being a pain because he was a kitten. I hadn't realised how much more slowly Somalis mature than your average moggie and that did affect his behaviour. He was so obviously still a kitten at an age when I'd expect most cats to be grown up.

My tetenus doesnt run out for another couple of years and I am not getting gouged like you did, its just nicks and small cuts from razor sharp claws and attempted bites. I try to stay out of his way cos he seems to move his agression from one thing to another. Say from Misa to me.

How exactly would I get zylkene in him Liz?

Until I get the new barrrier up I dont have a spare cage and then space is the problem.

Just want that bloomin barrier up.

He is curious about every thing which is him being a kitten........when was it you said they grew up LOL

Gill for everyones sake get him on Zylkene or this is going to cause you some massive problems with your resident cats and with you if nthe scratches get infected - did you ever get your Tetnus done?

Sadly he is just being a kitten and 3.5kgs is normal size for someone who is nearly 1

You have to shut him down and let the others have some you time he will adapt and there's always the other crate option to give you time to do stuff you need to get him to understand boundaries or he will think he is charge

I use the kitten pen for timeouts for my adults and they know they have done wrong usually when Bailey decides to assualt anything looking at him he takes his Alpha male status to far sometimes and he knows what timeout means!

Another bloomin 3 hours gone and managed to get two pieces of wood out of shed for sides to the barrier in the hall but need to measure between them to make top and bottom but a certain little monster will not let me!

I have tried everything and he pushes the wood down, chases the measure between climbing among things where he shouldnt . The current barrier is open cos its in the place where the new one will go and it doesnt work anywhere else cos Lupin just pulls it open.

He also can jump over now or jump on top, he is eyeing up other fun opportunities for himself and torment for me.

He has had a play with his favourite toy, a packet of deamies is well perforated and for the 4th time writing this he has been back up in the place that I dont want him.

I am bloomin exhausted and he is out in hall looking for other things to do.

He is banned from bedroom again cos just have to allow Ducha to eat , sleep and use his tray.

We just had a fight cos he was hassling Misa and wopping was going on, I dont want Misa to end up as scared as Sasa.

Yes he is just acting like a kitten but he is a big kitten at 3.5kgs and I dont think there is any mallice in him, he is just frustrated at being confined and keep being told no!

Bloomin foot hurting now where he caught it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I dont want to drug him and feliway upsets Sasa and I am trying to get her to come into the house at least at night.

I dont have the space to clear everything away so he cant climb up and break things.

Also cant shut him in a room cos he goes crazy and every shut door cuts off another cat.

He hasnt had his afternoon sleep but think as his tummy improves so does his activity level......sigh

Our lives totally revolve around our pets, we dont move them from the settee or the bed even if they are spread fully over it.
Mind you if we need the girls to go out for a run around before we leave for the day we do put the dyson on, that is sure to get them moving.

Lupin is only allowed in half the house and Misa and Sasa can only use this bit at night but Sasa has been staying in the greenhouse and I so want her to be indoors cos its so cold and wet.

Right now Lupin is in front room with me, he is either snoozing or watching me !

Sasa has come into the kitchen and Misa is also there but if I go into the kitchen she will leave the house!

Ducha is on my bed sleeping, I really want to put Dyson on and sort out the kitchen but am stuck cos Dyson will send Misa and Sasa out, make Ducha hide and probably wont worry Lupin
