Hi,
I will definitely give your cat a home no question. That is if you think it's right.
I'm the one Angie spoke about.
I'm also the daughter of the couple devastated by the loss of Foxylady, their 17yr old baby, from Newark.
I've rung them but no answer at present. She would be ideal for them, but I fear it may be too soon.
Their vets are in Balderton, am can give good references.
However failing that, some of you know me via here and Angie.
I'm in coventry and specialise in elderly cats, eapecially those who have lost an owner.
I also "specialise" in siamese, who I have a lifelong passion for.
As you all know ,I'm sure, so forgive me, siamese seem to be totally unique in these circumstances.
They go under very quickly, and greive badly and get super stressed.
She needs stability and quickly.
I do have several oldies but I find due to the calmness of the house, new cats settle quickly.
This is imperitive as some of them don't have long to go and the object is that they enjoy their final years with me.
Angie can vouch for me as i have several of Cov. cats oldies.
My other thought is that if this were to happen, then due to the close prox. of Newark to Grantham.
She could be taken to my parents, for me to collect.
Now, call me devious, but as much as I'd like her, my parents doted on Foxy and adore my cats, but faced with holding her for a day or so ?? they might just tell me not to bother to collect her. Obviously she would be overseen by me anyway as they come to stay and always bring their cat with them.
