Poor Benson .... it sounds to me like hee has been shut in somewhere hence why he was so dehydrated.  So sad.

There has been an update on CC

Benson has been found after 37 days at the Holiday Village but was very poorly and taken to a vets. Sadly he did not make it and died yesterday  :'(

Noticed this on CC and thought might be good to cross post:

Benson a 10 year old tabby and white male cat slipped his collar at the holiday village (he is an experienced camping cat) and has disappeared. He is neutered but not microchipped. The owners have had to return home and cannot search for him. :(
