Precious has been found and is now safe and sound back home.
I received a phone call this morning from a gentleman asking if we had lost a white cat.
Precious had been going in his garden and talking with his cat. The man gave precious some cat food from a distance then saw how hungry she was so went out and gave her a bowl full which she gobbled up.
He was then able to get near her to look at her name disc with phone number.
He lived 2 miles away across a very busy main road. He put her into his cat basket and took her round to my daughter.
He was surprised that she had been missing for over 3 weeks.
I am so relived she is back safe and sound although very skinny. Bless her.
I am so very grateful for all your help and support and to the very kind gentleman who cared enough to help precious
to be reunited with those that love her dearly.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Hi Gill.
That's what I don't understand, how does he know.
He says the cat has some war wounds and looks like "he" has been sleeping rough. precious is a fighting cat and quite big like a male. The cat has been coming to his house for about a week now he says.
Yes I have contacted him but through e-mail and waiting for a reply.
There are not many white cats gone missing lately in Southampton.

You can tell if neutered or not by the smell...............more the question and harder, how does he know if its a male?

Have you tried contacting him?

Hello.
I have just seen a post on gumtree by someone that claims he has found a white male neutered cat.
It is about 24 miles away from where precious went missing.
I was wondering how the man would know if the cat was a neutered male or not.
He has not been able to take it to the vet's yet.
I know I am clutching at straws but I just need to know.

Precious has not found her way back yet but we are not giving up hope, she is a bright little soul.
We all miss her so much, why do these beautiful creature's tug at our hearts so.
They have a canny knack of finding their way into our hearts so easily

Can't stress enough how important posters are and would urge you to read through the links that Yvonne has posted. Our Ruby went missing recently for 36 hours and I sympathise with the awful heartache you will be going through

Hello all.
I was advised to check this site out by a member of down the lane as we have lost our beautiful precious.
She has been missing now for over 2 weeks and we are very worried about her.
Precious was last seen on the weekend of the 14th May wearing a pink collar and her being pure white is quite noticeable.
I am finding it hard to understand why someone hasn't spotted her before now.

She is chipped but hadn't got used to her new home in Southampton before she went wandering off.
This site seems full of lovely caring people and maybe just maybe with help precious will find her way back home safe and sound. It is the not knowing that is the worst feeling.
