Remember the cat may actually be old with a serious health problem

If she really doesn't care for the cat, it might be best for the poor thing if it 'vanished'.
But the rescuer must life far enough away for the owner not to find out.
Hopefully the little mite isn't chipped.....

If I could take her I would, only problem is if you live close, if not no prob but intros would have to be done carefully and she would need to be kept in for about 4-6 weeks.

Other alternative is to approach the owner and ask if there is a health reason for cat being so thin and why is she out on the street?

If no reasobable answer, to tell her that she is committing an offence under Animal Welfare Act and you will be reporting her to RSPCA

Am after peoples opinions on what they would do,
Personally it i could have her, i would just take her. Bad i know, but if the woman cared for the poor girl it wouldnt be starvinetc & out on the street all the time, even out thru the nite x

I was thinkin that, she only looks young. Very friendly &  pretty, like a tortie mix (not my flora's tortie colour)
She just comes running over. My fear is that a car may clip her aswell if she wanders :o(
My niece is feeding her 3-4 times a day, and i have seen how she eat, she really wolfs it down bless her  :'(

Hi, thought i would post this as its constantly on my mind.
Across the road from my niece has a little cat, with saggy boobies.
Its so thin that you can feel its bones  :'(  and out in all weather, and all day from early morning.
My niece is feeding it but she can not take it in as she has a rescue kitten herself.
My niece has knocked many times sayin that the cat is jumping at her door handle etc, she opens the door, cat runs
upstairs, not long after its back out  >:( She also has a dog but i have not seen it. She has not long moved in the house.
My niece has had the cat in her house to give it some love & a warn, but its hissing at her 5mth old kitten x

(personally i dont think she is at all bothered about the cat, otherwise she wouldnt keep puttin it outside,
if you seen the owner & her kids you would maybe know what i mean)
