poor little thing, and scary as well because I'm sure lots of us let cats sleep on tops of wardrobes and think they will be fine - hope the wound clears up soon

Just a quick update for anyone interested, I have had my Tetnus and its stiff as hell and Miss Gypsy is still wobbly but we know ehat she hasn't got and nothing on the xrays or ultrasound so it looks like neurological damage so we have decided to let her be as the trips to the vet were very traumatic for my young feral so she looks like she has had a few sherries but is much happier so while she is happy so are we ;D

have jut found Miss Gypsy in the shower cubicle - the door was closed so she jumped 6 feet to get in it - its a glass surround and no jump points near and she had a pooh so thats good news as she has a wee when she came out legs are a bit shakey but she seems brighter and very feisty - my hand is now swelling nicely from this mornings bite!!!!

Not good news on Gypsy we are waiting on some test results but it looks like major neurological damage  :( so we are waiting to see what will happen not what we wanted but we have faith in our vets and she is in the pink bathroom feisty and not quiet after her anasthetic and is in escape mode so doors toed together so she can't beat me!!!

Its the asking if they are insured question that gets me every time - other nurses were smiling and asked if she was nice or nasty then they explained to the newbie that cost is never an option for the Clan cats and dogs if they need it Mummy says yes and Daddy pays for it

The score is Gypsy 2 Mummy 0 - she bit through my wrist and shredded my arm but is now at the vets - love the vet nurse a newbie - I advise do anything and everything anfd not worry about the cost she notes this down and then asks if she can stroke the little darling no I advise she is a feral and not a happy bunny she then advised that she would get the vets to phone if the cost was going to be high - I advised cost was not an issue as OH would pay for it on Saturday

Caught and in the isolation bathroom, I still have some skin on my hands and she has just deigned to eat some roast beef but is being a nortie tortie although Mummy has stroked her so she is currently washing - no idea the about the legs as she is hiding in the barrel or hooded bed so will wait and see tomorrow

Miss Gypsy appears to have fallen off the top of the wradrobe and is booked in to the vets for Thursday for knocking out, xray and ultra sound

She is limping very badly on her hind leg but the vets put her on Metacam to see if we have any improvement she has broken out of isolation twice so after discussing it with the vet she is now upstairs and living behind our bed so we are leaving her there till Wednesday night when I will hopefully catch her and put her in the kitten pen overnight - thats the plan currently!!!

She is one of 2 fosters we took on last year when they were nearly at PTS as some idiot said they would tame them down and then shut them in a garage for 11 months - my language was very choice as they were young enough to tame down and we said we would take them as they are only 18 months old - her brother McKenzie is all confused but he's not the sharpest blade in the knife block!!!!

Mis Gypsy is a tiny 2.8 kgs of pure Brindle tortieness and if you ignore the hissing and growling can be touched
