Thing is,When I was in P@H doing Daisy's shopping,I noticed just how widely varied the types & prices of cat food is now.Remember a few years ago when it was Whiskas or KiteKat?.....Looking at the price of some of them I only bought a couple of pouches of Applaws,no use buying x amount at 84p a pouch only for my furry Mistress not to eat them. (although I would've given them to the ASSISI)
However,I think over the years,Pet's as a whole have become more than just a pet,(And that is a good thing.) Crufts & the cat version (cant remember the name) used to see people doing 'mad' things for their pets in order to show them off but now pets are,imho,better treated & fed so they have became more ingrained in our lives.
I certainly couldn't have a home now without a cat in it.Ahh...Miss Daisy has just came onto my lap & settled in for the night..
