How did yest go hun.
Was she ok and you
Well I did cry
It was quite a good journey, considering Coco is quite a nervous, sensitive little soul, and it was about a 45 min drive. She stressed a bit to start with, but soon settled (well, resigned herself I think). When we got there she hopped straight out of the carrier on shot under the kitchen table on one of the chairs, and stayed there for all the time I was there (had a cup of tea and a chat, just so she could hear a familiar voice etc). She was quite calm and it helped that the lady is really calm and quietly spoken too.
Anyway, I've had an email from her today - and seems she's settling quite well, eating fairly ok, and the lady has been able to stroke her (which, when you know how nervous Coco is, is really good news
) She's also been moving around the kitchen and has even sat on the kitchen table to look out the window at the birdies in the garden
I do miss her
I stayed for about an hour to settle her in, and only just kept it together as I was leaving - made it to the car and the floodgates opened! Its so hard, its brilliant she's got such a lovely home, but it broke my heart to say goodbye.
