She's not doing so well today, Saturday she ate quite well - but this morning she hardly touched her food, and oddly, she's started sneezing and has got a bit of discharge from her nose

. Today, its like the op has really taken its toll on her

Our oldie Gracie had this on her jaw and lived for along time after diagnosis with the help of steroids and metacam so I hope BB gets her time with you

I picked her up a couple of hours ago. Poor little girl - she had the infected tooth removed (along with several others). They x-rayed her jaw and there is a mass in the jaw bone which they believe is likely to be cancerous, although I'm not going down the route of biopsies etc, and vet advised against anyway. Prognosis isnt good, but the main thing now is to get the infection under control and keep her comfortable. She's got antirobe abs - and Metacam

Despite all that she's had done today - as soon as I got her home I offered her a some food (got some of those little tins of Encore) and she tucked in

She's currently sitting in the middle of the room looking like she's away with the fairies - bit spaced out I think!

Hope it is only a abcess- can be sorted out quickly as Fifi had one a couple of years back -it looked like it was on her cheek -as soon as it burst she was fine pretty soon after.

Took BB to the vet because she has a sore mouth - didnt realise quite how sore. She's got a really bad tooth needs to come out, but also vet found a mass on her jaw, which may be abcess from the bad tooth, or worse

Either way, its not looking too good as apparently even if its just an abcess - the location of it is difficult to deal with.

A couple of years ago she had some bad teeth removed and they found a lump on her tongue, which was also removed and biopsied, so I'd thought it was perhaps another lump on her tongue, but they won't know that either until they operate tomorrow. She's 11 so is having pre op bloods as well.
