I'm so sad that Bonnie didn't get to spend more time with you Janey but I know the time she did have was filled with lots of love and I bet she enjoyed every minute.

You can now cherish every moment you spent together. It was very brave of you to take her on knowing she didn't have lots of time left, just wish it could have been more.

Oh Janey I 'm so sorry to hear this.

I was sure she was going to prove her prognosis wrong and have many months if not years with you.

You gave her love and made her feel special during her last days on earth. I know that's not at all what you had in mind for her and of little comfort to you right now but I'm sure it meant a lot to her.

We knew Bonnie was on borrowed time but hoped that she would have been with us a bit longer to be spoilt and cherished. Although our vets hadn’t yet received her details from the other vets she said she could tell the CRF was at the worse stage. She said there was nothing we could have done for her she would have just kept crashing and each time is a step further down and they wouldn’t be able to bring her back up to the previous level this time. She was so tiny bless her when we took her to the vets on Tuesday she only weighed 1.9kg, the vet said you can tell she’s always been tiny with her bones she was literally the size of a kitten. We’re having her cremated and will collect the ashes afterwards and bring them back home. It's heartbreaking but we’re so grateful that Susie and the rescue let her come to us, she fitted into our little family so well. She was one very special little girl, will miss her dearly such a terrible shame we didn’t have more time.

She was a darling and I'm very sorry. I think perhaps she was older than 15- I know she hadn't been well cared for, but she did look very, very old. Sad news but as everyone else has said, she had the best final days that she could possibly have had.

So sorry to hear that Bonnie has gone and she knows how much you loved her and I am sure she loved you and your OH loads to. Just wish you all had more time together but you know she got the medical attention she needed when it was needed and you could of not done any more for her than you had.
