I take it Martyn would be fine with me appropriating his first born at two weeks old and selling him/ her on eBay?  >:( How exactly is he intending to keep the kitten as small as possible? Or is he thinking along the lines of the teenage mums who deliberately smoke through pregnancy to ensure an easy birth?  :shify:
:'( My beautiful Noah rescued 13/02/09, adopted 11/10/09, taken 11/02/11 :'( You deserved so much more.

hehe! naughty Judith. Hope Pushka had a good night. My two dumpees are still shell shocked.

I've seen the following today, just composed a long reply and alerted the site!

im trying to get my fiance a kitten for valentines.
must been between 3-12 weeks old.
contact my by email or phone (xxxxxx)
i will pay £30 max
thanks
martyn

ps don't see whats really wrong with copying a post if its something for discussion as opposed to a 'can someone please find a non-existent rescue space for this poor cat' and for really stupid entries maybe a bit of hate mail......

Updated to add got the following reply -

we have both previously raised kittens from 2 weeks before due to their mother dying and the cats are currently a health 11 years of age.
yes she does want a kitten, thats why im lookin...
and since i owne the property, im pretty sure im fine with this.
i want to find one as small as possible due to having rabbits and chickens..

Sorry folks, didn't mean  to cause trouble or offence.    :innocent:  Just wished to vent my anger about this stupid person's attitude to their "much loved" pet.  With a busy household and lots of fosters, including a new one (thanks Angie  :briggin:) it was a quicker way for me.  :Luv:

no clue as to what the fault is im afraid- narrow pelvis or something even worse? Poor girl does need someone to rescue her and give her the love-and spaying! she deserves.
I shouldnt read these ads as it makes me so mad with people- Before i had georgia i knew people didnt look after cats and some ended up in rescues etc but ive been walking around blind i shamefully admit- its opened up my eyes, on a daily basis people are getting rid of cats like they are nothing to them. Georgias only been here 3 weeks but shes already a member of our family and allways will be unless something terrible happened to either one of us. how people decide to get a cat after years of companship for idiot reasons such as new partner, dog, allergy etc is beyond me. rant over :-[

I saw this- I nearly replied asking why in the name of god wasnt the poor cat spayed, she could have died!!!

This cat will pull on the heart strings of a genuine caring person and bring a higher price unspayed and her owner is both clever and callous enough to know that.

I have just seen this ad on one of those ads we all love to hate:-

have a Blue Siamese female available, she is beautiful and deserves only the best home. She gets on with other cats so long as they are quiet no young boisterous cats.
She is 2 years old vaccinated and wormed upto date. Under no circumstances must she be used for breeding, she was born with a deficeiency problem and whilst she is lucky to not suffer from this herself, her kittens would.

I once allowed her to have a litter of kittens before i knew of her condition and we lost pretty much the entire litter it was heartbreaking not just for me but for her too and so she musnt be put through this again. She is full pedigree however i have no papers, however i do have all the vaccination cards.

She is great with children and is extremmely affectionate. I will not allow her to go anywhere, a quick sale is not needed and i will wait for the appropriate home to come along.

Please only enquire if you can offer her a fantastic permaneant home with everything she deserves.
I have hundreds of pictures and they will be sent on request. Price is to be arranged.
