And let me guess - you got up and opened the door for her?  :rofl:  Jaffa is just the same.  He's perfectly capable of opening doors if they're slightly open like that but he'd much rather I got up to do it for him.

Chloe used to have what we called "The Kitty Stannah-Stairlift Miaow"

It meant - "I really cant be bothered to jump up onto this chair/sofa/bed/place I want to get to so would a human please come and lift ME  N O W !"

Lazarus assumes a position for me to lift him up onto the window ledge. He is quite capable of getting up there unaided but if I am around...
