take care Ellen - know how bad you feel cos since just before Christmas I've visited my doc 3 times with cough and sinus and each time she checked for chest infection but I didn't have one.  Other week she gave me anti-biotics and told me to do a lot of breathing in steam from a bowl of hot water with olbas oil in it. It seems to have done the trick - I've not coughed for a few days and sinus not too bad.  I get sinusitis every year but this year it's been 100% worse.

If I had amoxycillin I would be in hospital if I was lucky if not my animals would be looking for a forever home.  I am allergic to them and when I had them several years ago is how I found out I had not woken for food, drink or toilet at all in 24 hours and that was from taking just one and ended up in hospital, eventually came round about 72 hours after taking that single amoxycillin tablet and was on a drip, catheterised and very concerned medical staff and family by my bed.

Think those are the standard ones for sinus probs but they make me ill, very ill so two course of amoxycilan are better for me.

It is not that I am ignoring the computer but was at the doctors the other day and found out that I had Chest infection and Sinus infection, there was me thinking the pain in the top of my nose was from the coughing but no.  Also have to find time to knit and make up 4 sets of baby cardigans, bonnets, mittens and bootees for in a weeks time or sooner depending on when my neice has her baby girl, and then firstly see to my animals and my fosters and manage to go shopping, etc.

Ah well what gets done gets done and that is how it will have to be.  Just wish the doctor wouldn't give me antibiotics that have to be taken every 6 hours and have so many other restrictions as to when or how you take them. 

Must be taken on empty stomach, not allowed to eat for 2 hours either side of them, not allowed to consume any dairy products, vitamins, antiacid items for at least an hour either side. Oh what fun I am having trying to manage that as well as all the other stuff, yes that means no cup of tea for an hour before or after or any time in between taking it.
