Why can't they take him? :(

Sometimes vets advise not to take older cats because they feel the stress might be too much for them. But if he's fit and healthy I think I'd try personally.

I just love how this is written up! So much better than other "I like sleeping, eating and spending ridiculous amounts of time washing the same bit of me cos I get distracted and have to start again"s! Poor guy - hope he finds somewhere.

I just think its so sad that the family are emigrating and leaving this older gentleman behind after he has probably lived with them all his life  :(

Handsome, Healthy 17-year-old chap, SEEKING HOME URGENTLY due to family emigrating in February

Hullo, I'm Boris. I'm a handsome and healthy 17 year old chap. I'm hoping there might be some kind person out there who would give an old fella like me a nice, warm home to spend my retirement years in. My current people are going to Australia to live! I know, mad isn't it? All those kangaroo blighters, can't see the fun in those, can you? I bet kangaroos wouldn't sit and warm your lap on a winter's evening like I can. Anyway, that means very soon, yours truly will be homeless! Now if you've read this far that's good, so here's what I can offer: I'm neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, in excellent health (and rather dashing, if I do say so myself). I get on fine with dogs, but am not really partial to other cats. I'm used to living with children, but they would need to respect my space. So if you need a nice reliable lap-warmer, and think a gorgeous older chap like me fits the bill, please drop a line to these rescue folks. I'll be brushing up my whiskers ready to meet you!

Boris is in fine health at present, and the family have said they will contribute to future vet bills within reason.
To make an enquiry, please send an Email to: bohohedonist@yahoo.com giving a land-line phone number and someone will get back to you.
