i am so sorry to hear this - it is certainly a week for cats going to the bridge. She was very lucky you offered to 'foster' her, and she had a good end to life, which is all we can ask for them. RIP little one

I think there must be a BIG party going on at the Bridge right now - Chloe yesterday and now Sasha.  At least you know you gave her the best and kindest end 

And Ive no doubt Chloe went yesterday to make sure Sasha had cake waiting for her today :)

I am so sorry to read this -i also had a big soft spot for Sasha .
I am pleased she had the best retirement home with you though and she wanted for nothing and was so settled.

Sadly I had to have dear little Sasha put to sleep this morning. Her appetite hadnt been brilliant these past weeks, (she was on fortekor for kidney failure) but she was still eating until christmas day. I couldnt tempt her with anything - except some meat from the turkey later on in the evening - she'd only eat it if I hand fed her, wouldnt eat from her plate. I thought maybe she might pick up as she's gone off her food before, but always got her appetite back within a day or two. She didnt pick up though and I could see she'd had enough.

She was 16 and I only adopted her in February this year when her owners emigrated, she settled in so well here, like she'd always lived here. RIP Sasha  :'(
