Bert (21 and a quarter) and toothless and Miss gracie 17 and 1 tooth left would like to add that Royal Canin biscuits are good and that after a while you can eat anything just let the humans think you need all that nice soft expensive stuff and human food to. :innocent:

Clapton agrees with simon. He said the chunks are hard to bite, unlike raw chicken where he can clear the plate in 2 minutes  :tired:

The vet is very pleased with his mouth, all infection has gone and the holes have healed nicely  :)
Simon still claims that felix chunks are impossible to eat but Bozita chunks are ok, funny that!

Hopefully this will be the end to his swellings and gingivitis.

He has a check up booked, my vet likes to follow up all dentals as routine. We have had cats at work where the sutures havent dissolved and caused problems, iv checked his mouth and its looking ok to me, hes just a big pansy! NM is his favourite food so im sure hes milking it!

Clapton has had 3 lots of teeth removed in the last 2 years - The last time, he had several out and it took him a week or so to get over it. The other times he was over it in a couple of days. He seems a lot happier . He looks so cute when he does a gummy yawn  :Luv:

He said its payback time as I am having a back tooth out at 1pm today!  >:(

Aaww poor Simon and only 18 months old.  I assume you have a follow up visit to vet arranged as I had to with Freddie when he had virtually all his teeth out last Autumn. I think it took about a week before I was happy he was eating normally again altho he may have strung it out a bit coz of course he had to have the best whilst convalescing lol.  Have to admit that I still mash his food up for him when I feed him altho OH always forgets and Freddie doesn't seem to notice lol

180 squid a bit steep as Freddie's cost about £130 from memory.  Sorry, don't mean to start the vets' costs debate again!

 to the little man  :Luv:

Fingers crossed - I would be getting the vet to check his gums though, that isn't that normal after a dental.

He has been the biggest drama queen out of all the dental cats iv ever cared for!
5 days on and he still has to have natures menu smashed with water as chunks in jelly is too much for the little poppit to cope with, baring in mind he normally eats like a labrador  :-:
Im wondering if he thinks his mummy is a soft touch...  :fish:

His lumps have gone down tho so im pleased its helping him.

I get to pick him up in an hour. He had to have the right hand side of his mouth extracted because of his recurring gingivitis and granulomas, poor poppit is only 18months and is now half gummy!  :(
I hope this will sort him out, its certainly going to sort my bank account out!  :oh noo:
