Memphis follows after his mummy ... He goes bananas for cod, plaice, haddock, tuna, mackeral, sardines, prawns, scampi, crab, lobster (get the picture?) give him Salmon and he looks like you are trying to poison him. It is the ONLY thing he refuses to eat. He totally pulls his nose up at it, which is just unheard of.

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

   the fish4cats stuff is VERY rich and is a complimentary food.  My lot went mad for it for a few days then turned their noses up ... so I left it for a week or so then gave them another pouch between them anf they hoovered it up.  I think it's a case of giving it as a treat  ;)

I may try the it again next week but I can't honestly say the first pouch was eaten enthusiastically! I did know F4C was only complementary so he has not had it three meals running, but thanks for the reminder.

I remember my vet suggesting a certain food to me to help with Geoffrey's weight loss.  I said to her "but he doesn't like it" and she said "good, he'll lose weight then, won't he"

I didn't like to say when the auction was on, but I bought some of that for Alice last year. She loves salmon but she wouldn't touch it - nor would the others. I offered it to the 2 torties that visit and they turned their noses up as well . I ended up feeding it to the seagulls  :evillaugh:

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Some of you will recall Noah is the greediest cat ever, described as 'inhaling his food' by Jen from Adel CP. In fifteen months he has only refused two cat foods - both dry - every bowl of wet food has been licked clean. With this in mind I happily bid on 48 pouches of Fish4Cats salmon in the Purrs auction.  :innocent:

I am sure you know where this is going .... Noah ate the first, picked at the second, outright refused the third. He was hungry enough to purr whilst I opened the last pouch, a purr which stopped as the bowl hit the floor and I then received THE LOOK. He purred whilst inhaling his Bozita this evening, no doubt happy that my training is progressing again. :evillaugh:
