So! still no Thimble, which is sad, the search continues.
However, I decided that maybe looking after some new cats would be a good idea, as on apersonal level I have been very sad and lonely.
So, I spoke to the lovely Angie at Coventry Cats and we decided I could do some fostering.
Lo and behold a week later the lovely Bubble and Squeak arrived. Black and white 5 month old sisters, (my personal favourite colours for cats). The young lad who brought them round explained he'd had a split from his girlfriend and so he couldn't afford to keep them and he was out at work all day as well. He looked gutted when he left, bless him.
So the cage was opened and they trotted out, immediately sniffing everything and jumping up on the sofa to say hi. Squeak literally squeaks instead of a meow, it's very sweet.
So we've had them here 4 nights. they both sat on my lap within 3 hours which surprised me for a start! they adore cuddles and bubble has an obsession with kneading while squeak likes to lick :-)
They met my step daughters at the weekend as they stayed over, and put up with a lot of chasing around, they mostly enjoyed it!
so today I had an email about a possible adopter for them....so my converstion with my boyfriend last night came back to me 'why don;t we just keep them' I argued that wasn't the idea of fostering.... But the thought of them going to live somewhere else made me feel ill!
So! we're keeping them! It's official! I am a FAILED FOSTERER! We're very, very happy. and here are a pic. Bubble has more white. She also likes to climb the curtains...
