Firstly so sorry not to be here as i norm am for the auction. It's a bit of a tough few weeks with me fam and rushing now to get urgent accounts work finished & shop orders so have been only able to pop on at times so far  Hopefully things will calm down next week

I wanted to thank you all everyone of you who have helped with the auction running, who have auctioned items and who have bid on them. Everyone of you are stars cause without you lot it would just not be possible to help the cats at Ron's. It's them we do it for    So thank you all from the bottom of my heart. 

Gilly thank you hun so very much for another very successful auction. You dun us proud gal!

Actually there have been no hitches behind the scenes cos Tan and I have been doing the auction for 6 or is 7 years and every year we get better  and its a pretty smooth thing, and this year we had more in the team than usual thank goodness cos the volume of items was huge.

However there is still time for somethoing to go wrong so better shut up  ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,have to say my typing is going down hill and have no fingerprint left fro scrolling

I'll second that.  This auction always does wonders for my faith in human nature and this year more so than most.  Life is hard for many but the spirit of giving is not dead.  Its not just the money but the amount of time and effort that people are prepared to put in to make this thing work that humbles me.  I love you all.

Just like to add my congratulations to the team.  I've always believed that people are usually generous and caring.  It does help to have it confirmed every so often though  . 

Am so pleased for the cats that Ron looks after and for Ron who will perhaps feel the financial burden of the good work he does just a little less this Christmas  .

The auction is a huge thing to run and this year has had so many more items than ever before. Its been a massive team effort and I would like to publically thank the Auction Team 

In  no particular order 

My huge thank you to :

Sam.............who obtained all the commercial sponsorships and now will spend days sending every thing out 
She also helped with tonights postings.

Jo (blackcat)...................who has been my support every night with the postings which take so long and who also got up at 0700 down there in Tasmania today  to help to post tonight. 

My other helpers tonight with the posting:

Claire (Daisymac) and Shonagh (Jackspratt) and without them we would still be posting 

Tan who has rushed back tonight to update the dreaded spreadsheet and who of course posted up all the sponsors addys and links and will now be involved in the collection of the money and the passing of this to Ron from all at Purrs 

I could not have done this without each and everyone of you and all the time you have put in is so appreciated by me 

The rest of the team is of course all of you out there who have bid constantly for over two weeks and put up some fabulous items in the auction.

I feel honoured that Team Purrs has done it again and raised an amazing amount for Lost Cats Brighton and I humbly thank you all.
