:thanks: as i said just taking it really slowly as don't want to upset my two.
the vet was really helpfull and said to castrate is £34.19 but if i get intouch with cat protection
they will give a voucher that will make it £14.19 saving £20 then his id chip £17.74
then his injections £65.63 for the full set
also need to see if he is litter trained.

HE is lovely - I wouldnt let them meet till he has been neutered though, as the hormones might affect the introduction process - it can take up to six weeks after being neutered for everything to settle though.
Please spay your cat

i havn't used feliway just taking it slow letting them get used to each others scent.
had the door slightly open between them this morning and they touched noses and my
two gave a friendly chirp like they do when they greet each other and had paws through
the door trying to touch him.
samson and nibbles went in the room where he had been and had a sniff :shify: about for 10mins
then went back to watching the birds through the window.
no matter how close to the corner of the window nibbles is samson has to jump into the
corner and nearly fell out this morning :)

Do you use Feliway to help calm them in these situations?

Garfield is just soooooooooooooo gorgeous and knows a good place when he finds one  ;D ;D

Brings a tear to my eye cos back in London I had a stray hanging round for months, since about May, he would go in the house but was terrified if you we nt towards him, I had Kocka back then who hated all cats. He started coming in at night and sleeping in a box in the kitchen once the winter came but as soon as I would walk through he would be gone out the flap.

Gingerbread was a bit lighter coloured than Garfield and short haired and on Christmas day he came through the flap just as I had put Kockas turkey and jelly down and he sat behind a cupboard watching her eat. Just him coming in like that was surprise and I put a dish of turkey and jelly down for him but he waited for Kocka to finish before he tucked in.

On Boxing day he came and sat on my lap and purred and purred  ;D

Sadly I had to ask CP to rehome him cos Kocka was attacking him and making his ears bleed and he would just sit there ant let her,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it broke my heart. He went to a good home immediately but will never forget him.

Garfield really suits him! He's a lucky lad to have found you.

well we are already feeding him.
just depends how our cats take to him they have met through a part open door and had a good sniff
non of them have shown any aggression towards each other.
when he sits on the step samson purrs and rubs his head on the glass.

we have had a cat hanging around for about 6 month now and i am fairly sure been living rough
in our garden for the last 2 months. everytime one of us went near him he would bolt terrified.
so we put some food out and he has been taking it. eventually he let us near him.
have got a bit worried with the snow and cold lately so he now has a shelter under our carport.
he now spends most of his time in this and just goes missing for a hour or 2 midday.
and now comes in for a warm infront of the fire for a couple of hours each day.
have put a collar on him a couple of days ago with the message is this your cat and my number on it.
so far no reply but to be honest im not expecting one.
today i decided to take him to the vets to see if he had been chipped.
i now know he is male and still has all his bits and hasn't been chipped.
whilst there i also had him tested for fiv/fev he has been given the all clear.
the reason i had him tested is im thinking of letting him stay with us and i have 2 of my own already

since taking the last pic i have nicknamed him garfield :evillaugh:
