Snarf can only comment on Trigene and if mixed correct would say it does not smell like bleach as I have a cat that will try to make love to anything that has a bleachie smell no matter how slight, he has no reaction on the areas where Trigene has been used.  If I bleach the sides with the shop bought spray bleach which we all know is diluted a lot he will bite the back of my hand and behave like a tom with a queen but has never done that to me even after I have scrubbed the litter trays out and had my hands in Trigene solution.

i use the microbiobial wipes from PAH at the mo but theyre very expensive comparitively, not a problem with normal usage but with fostering and nekos current problems im going through it at quite a rate. Virkon and trigene were the names i couldnt remember. next awkward question- do either of them smell like bleach? ive not had a problem in the vets so i dont think they do? the smell of bleach give me migraines and makes me vomit. no idea why

I use trigene for cleaning litter trays, floors and the cats bedding and have no problems with it.

I use Pets at Home stuff cleaning stuff, although I've no idea how it compares for price to the other products mentioned here.

I always use Virkon for cleaning floors, kitten pens,  bowls, washing bedding in etc (you can put it in the washing machine) and household bleach for disinfecting litter trays (very generous splash of bleach, fill the tray to the top with water, leave for 30 mins and then rinse thoroughly).

I think the vet anti-bac cleaners recommended were Virkon and Trigene...
