I hope they are wrong
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

George has a tumour RIP kitty cat George

My tabby George (otherwise known as Kitty Cat :) ) has been losing weight recently and his appetite these past few days has been poor, although he did eat this morning. Ironically I'd booked Harry in for a vet visit this eve because of something I'm worrried about with him - but a friend was here this afternoon, who hadnt seen George for a few months, and was shocked at how much weight he'd lost. So I took George instead (Harry hasnt got off scot free, he'll still be going  :evillaugh: )

Anyway, the vet felt all round and was very worried about a mass she could feel on one of his kidneys, its quite big, and she's pretty sure its a tumour  :( , he's also very dehydrated. She took some bloods and he's got to go back in tomorrow to have some iv fluids, but to be honest the outlook is bleak. I'm a bit in shock really, as I just thought maybe a bit of an infection perhaps - but this I wasnt expecting  :( He's 15 and I've had him since he was a teeny kitten being treated horribly by awful owners.
