I'm looking for a big-hearted person who's got lots of time and love to give me, and will be patient while I slowly learn to trust you. I like my creature comforts - I enjoy going outside but not very far, and am a bit of a homebody.

Mark - You sound perfect for each other  :) If only he got on OK with other cats  :(

It is such a shame. As you know, I'm home most days, except for college. If we did adopt a cat, they would have the whole of the attic suite as Alice did initially. I would hate the idea of a timid cat being bullied by Kylie though  :sigh:

Also, children are banned from the house  :evillaugh: - my sister doesn't even bring hers over  :evillaugh:

We are so torn, as Kylie has really come out of her shell since the other 2 died. She has started sleeping in the bedroom again for the first time in years - Willow always bagged the bed and sometimes Clapton as well.

Mr Soks is one of the cats my partner is interested in, and has been for a while  :evillaugh:(we lost 2 of our 4 cats to CRF this year  :'( )

If it wasn't for the 'only cat' thing, we would have jumped at the chance. Shame  :(

We think our other 2 would prefer to be only cats as well (both CP cats) but they have enough space to avoid eachother.

(I am a CP volunteer as well  :evillaugh: )

Hello,

I'm sorry, I'm new at this. Will you please tell me which section I should add him? Yes you added him to top cats, he's still looking.

Also, is there a way to move the post, or does it have to be removed and a new one added to the correct section?

Thanks,

No problem it's fine, I would have moved it but Gill had already done so

How long has he been waiting now? sorry I must have confused you, we have a section for cats that have been waiting over 6 months for a home and I can move him there if that's the case.

Yes,  this is the section for Cats Needing Home (none urgent) although it can seem urgent when he's been waiting a long while.  If he's been waiting over 6 months I can add him to that section for you

Poor Mr Soks, I avtually thought the name rang a bell then checked and I added him to Top Cats.  I hope that he's soon in a lovely forever home  fingers crossed for that gorgeous boy xx

Hiya... can I just point out, before the others do  :evillaugh: But this section is for urgent case under threat of PTS or needing rescue spaces.  ;)

It takes a while to navigate around but you soon get used to it.  :) I'm sure a mod will move it to the correct section.  :briggin:

Hello,

Mr Socks has been with us for a while now and is our saddest cat in desperate need of a home.

Here's Mr Soks' story:
I'm Mr Soks, aged 4, and I'm looking for a very special somebody. I'm quite a timid chap and wary of strangers, so I take my time get to know you. I'm looking for a big-hearted person who's got lots of time and love to give me, and will be patient while I slowly learn to trust you. I like my creature comforts - I enjoy going outside but not very far, and am a bit of a homebody. I'm not great with children or other cats so would like to be the only pet in the household. Is my special person out there somewhere? I really hope so.
To see me enjoying rolling in some catnip and also to see me playing watch my youtube clips, just copy and paste the links to your web browser; www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCoo7k36MrE

If you, or someone you know is interested in Mr Soks, or would like to offer a home to one of our rescued cats, please call our Branch Helpline on 0845 371 2739 and leave your details in Mailbox 2, or e-mail us at eastsurreycats@yahoo.co.uk .  We will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, but please remember that we are all volunteers and may not respond immediately.

Many thanks,
The Volunteer Team
