Another development! She just came for a cuddle! With Dave not a foot away from her! Didn't grumble or anything when she came in ;D When she'd had enough she did grumble though, even at me, whilst still sitting on me :shify: I dared touch Dave's though :evillaugh:

Well, we've had a remarkable turn of events this evening ;D After our little standoff when I tried to bring her in earlier, I came to bed and she came in to me voluntarily for a cuddle ;D She did then grumble quite profusely when Dave dared set foot in the room but still ;D

And now, this very minute, she's sloped in, giving Dave a dirty look (who is cuddled against me for warmth, bit chilly here tonight (pardon the pun) and is looking out the bedroom window ;D

I'm going to put this down to mostly the Feliway but what a relief, hopefully she'll get better from here and I won't hastily go and adopt pud number 3 in a misguided attempt to cheer her up!

Strike that, she's just left again but came and went with no obscenities passing her lips :evillaugh:

 Poor Chilli  :ahh: We all know they are emotional animals, but it is amazing how deep they run. OH is convinced that Kylie is mourning Clapton, even though they never had much to do with each other - it's true as she does seem to be depressed.

I have this book around somewhere and keep meaning to read it. I did start but gave up - I really must find it and try again http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nine-Emotional-Lives-Cats/dp/0099449242/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1289163440&sr=8-3

I always thought it was one of mostly mutual tolerance with some secret affection.

Then I noticed Chilli wouldn't come in the bedroom. Out of curiosity I took her in there last night and she hissed, grumbled and shot out as fast as she could :( Totally perplexed and puzzled by this I plugged the Feliway in there today and tried the same thing, again, same reaction.

I've been sat here thinking about it and I've realised that it's since Little Miss went that she's been like this. All thre eof them used to sleep in there at times, Chilli under the bed/under the radiator, Little Miss on the floor/bed and Dave on the bed.

I'm not really sure how to deal with it if at all. I hate the thought that she might be a bit depressed and short of fumigating the bedroom not sure what I can do to ease her feelings of loss when she goes in there :(

I know it's probably just down to time but I feel so sad for her now I've realised what's wrong.
