Hello a bit better thanks, she has had a reaction to the flee treatment as its too strong, so we have been told of some other treatment that is much weaker thanks

Hi and 

Sorry to hear your babies are all itchy .... do you comb them as well as treating with frontline?  if they are hoasting "friends" then a flea comb may help to remove some before you can get them to the vet.  If you don't have a flea comb you can them at most pet stores and pets at home.  I would recommend a metal toothed one over the plastic ones.

But I would definitely recommend the vet visit on Monday because it certainly sounds like Maisy has either had a reaction to the fronlne of she may have a flea allergy (one bite from a flea and she will be very itchy).  If it is an allergy the vet will be able to sort her out.

I agree with the others that a Vet trip is needed although I appreciate that it might not be so easy on a Sunday.

Have you also treated the house? Cats seem to act like this is they know there are fleas around. Most fleas live off the cats so if you see a flea on the cat you can bet there are many more in the environment.

I would take her to the vet, she could have an allergy to the fleas, the Frontline or both or something else entirely not related to the Frontline and just a coincidence but it's not something we can diagnose. She's obviously distressed though so I'd be trying to get an appointment tomorrow if I were you.

 Firstly, Hello!
I am Jess from South East England.
Got two 6 year old cats (brother and sister) Maisy And Harvey.
We recently gave them front line for fleas.
Maisy is now acting worse after then she was before.
She is coming in the catflap, crawling low along the floor and jumps on the work top.
She does this every time she comes in.
Also if she is asleep on the dining room chair she refuses to jump down, when shes on the worktop she just stares at the floor.
Its like she has got this thing in her head that she cant walk on the floor.
Also she is scratching so so so much after the treatment, this has been a week after we gave it to her and its getting worse.
She is constantly itching and scratching and licking herself.
What can I do?
